A Patient came with the complaint of broken tooth in the upper right and left back tooth region .The below x-ray shows the broken root portion.
The broken root portion has been removed from right and left upper back tooth region and replaced with dental implants using topical anesthesia followed by local anesthesia(painless injection).In such cases replacement with permanent tooth cannot be done immediately,since tissue shrinkage will occur and which will lead to exposure of dental implants.Therefore,acrylic teeth will be given initially inorder to attain the chewing ability,later after three months it will be replaced by permanent crown.
