Dental implants can replace the missing teeth by acting as a pillar on which the teeth rests.
Is that essential that I have to undergo numerous number of implants in case of entire teeth missing?
No, 4 to 6 implants per arch is highly enough. In special cases or patients with compromised bone,
6 - 8 implants may be requiired per arch. Minimum of 8 and maximum of 14 implants may be required to replace the entire set of both upper and lower teeth.
Is it essential that i have to replace all the teeth missing?
No. Replacement upto first molars is highly enough. In case of young individuals or the patients who require high chewing efficiency, replacement of teeth till second molars is required.
